Here at the specs on both the R1 and the R2 Gas Powered Drift Trikes from
Trike Daddy Customs
.
The R2 Specs
Here she is the R2 Powered Drift Trike. Looking for the ultimate drift machine? Get Your Slide Right on the worlds sexiest drift trike! The Trike Daddy Customs R2 Powered Drift Trike is built to take a beating! We use American steel and high quality components on all our products. It is made in America and built to last so you don’t have to worry about breaking parts and calling another country to get sliding again.
This model is our most popular model due to it’s lightweight, stability, and response to hp upgrades. Not to mention the price point. Every frame is fabricated using a high end mandrel bending machine. Our bends are within one half of 1/10th or 1*! That’s tight! We take pride in our finished products and believe that our Drift Trikes are superior to any other products on the market.
Just a few things worth mentioning that you may not find anywhere else. Powder coated frame and forks, Custom machined forks with laser cut parts, adjustable seat, 300lb weight capacity, Stretched rear wheels and tires, and most importantly there is a limited lifetime warranty on the frame and forks to protect you against any manufacturer defects. Get your slide right today!
The R1 Specs
The R1 Gas Powered Drift Trike is back! We took the R1 off of our product line-up to do some design changes to increase the performance and fun factor. The 26″ R1 Gas Powered Drift Trike now has the same rear axle width as the R2 (20″) Gas Powered Drift Trike. This makes the parts interchangeable saving the amount of time it takes to fabricate the trike.
Shortening the width of the R1 Gas Powered Drift Trike adds a bit of performance and handling. Another added bonus to narrowing the rear axle is the ability for it to fit in the back of most SUV’s and crossovers. This was impossible on the previous version. Lighter weight and faster acceleration just like the R2.
Many people ask what’s the difference between the R1 and the R2? The only difference now is the front wheel. The R2 uses a 20″ front wheel and fork while the R1 uses a 26″ front wheel and fork. The next question is “Why the price difference?” Well the answer is somewhat simple. The 26″ frame has more steel in the frame and fork assemblies. The front wheel is 6″ larger in diameter and the parts cost a bit more. Other than that they are identical in design and performance.
The R1 Gas Powered Drift Trike is better suited for a 6′ plus rider due to the height of the handle bars. The handle bars will restrict a shorter riders view. Both the R1 and R2 Drift Trikes will hold a 300+lb rider with no problems. Just like all of our products the R1 carries a full replacement warranty on the frame and forks. You break them we will replace them. Simple as that. We stand behind what we build period!!!
